Running is such a fantastic sport and a perfect way to burn calories and tone-up.

With thousands of events being held in the UK each year from the Cancer Research 5k to The London Marathon, don’t be a bystander be a participant and get yourself running fit so you can cross that line with a smile on your face.


Programme 1: Learn To Run - Suitable for absolute beginners who just want to run!
If you get puffed out running for the bus or are jealous of friends meeting up for a Sunday run then this could be just the course for you…

Learn to run with my 8 week Beginners Guide To Running programme. Over the course of the 8 weeks you will build up your running stamina through a program of activity and learned techniques suited to your fitness level.

Programme 2: Event Specific – Suitable for distances of 10k upward
Have you booked yourself in to an event but are and now feeling the pressure? Don’t panic as help is close at hand.

Kirsty Doonan will support and train you all the way with a planned and progressive running programme aimed at building up your confidence and mileage throughout the weeks leading up to race day.

Sessions will cover a range of training techniques which may include; Heart Rate Training, Fartlek, Intervals, Hills, Recovery runs.

As well as the running sessions, strength, core work and flexibility will be incorporated into the programme as well as advice on injury prevention and nutrition.
